How does my recipient redeem their card?
Your recipient can redeem their Wayvo card online in a few quick steps:
- Log in to their Wayvo account (or create one if they don’t have one yet).
- Add the card to their Wallet, if it isn’t already there, using the card details you’ve sent them.
- Choose a brand from the Wayvo Brands page.
- Swap their Wayvo card for the amount they’d like to spend with that brand.
- Receive their brand gift card by email, ready to use at the brand’s online checkout, or in store if the brand supports it.
They can split their balance across different brands, so they’re free to pick what suits them best.
Yes. You can make as many swaps as you like while you have balance left.
Your Wayvo card is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Once you swap some or all of it for a brand gift card, that brand’s expiry date and terms apply to the swapped amount, which you’ll find on the brand’s page. It’s worth keeping an eye on both dates. See our Terms of sale for more.
Yes. When on the buy gift card page, select business and then select add in bulk, then input your recipient details in to the table provided. Alternatively you can email us at hello@wayvo.co.uk and we’ll fulfil bulk orders using a simple spreadsheet template.
How is Wayvo different from a regular gift card?
A regular gift card ties you to a single brand. Wayvo gives you a balance to spend across lots of them, so you choose what you actually want, and your money goes to brands with credible commitments to people and planet.
Unlike some multi-choice cards that run on Visa or Mastercard and can be spent directly at a retailer, a Wayvo card isn’t spent at the till. Instead, you swap your balance for a gift card from the brand you pick, which arrives by email and can be used at that brand’s online checkout, or in store if the brand supports it. It’s one quick extra step, and it’s what lets us connect your balance to brands we’ve chosen for their commitments.
